FileMyFiles for Mac OS X adds uninstall/remove app features

Pubblog has updated FileMyFiles (http://filemyfiles.com), a file organizing utility for Mac OS X, to version 2.3. The upgrade adds the capability to uninstall and remove applications, along with all of their associated files and folders.

According to the folks at Pubblog, with one click, FileMyFiles will: clean up your Desktop; copy your important files and folders to your laptop when you go on the road; and copy them back to your desktop computer when you return. You can even schedule FileMyFiles to automatically organize all the files in a list of all of your important folders.

You can schedule FileMyFiles to automatically organize all the files in a list of all of your important folders. All of your files are put away according to the type of the file. Files are sorted and put into folders according to eight categories of file types: Words, Images, Audio, Compressed, Data, Layout, Video, and Web.

FileMyFiles is fully customizable. The names of the destination folders can be changed. The lists of file types assigned to each folder can be changed. You can create a list of important folders for FileMyFiles to organize. You can make a list of important files and folders to be copied to your laptop computer in preparation for traveling.

FileMyFiles costs US$19.95 and works with Mac OS X 10.5 or higher. Version 2.3 is a free update for registered users of version 2.x.

You can click on Unfile My Files and all of your files will be put back where they came from. The demo version of FileMyFiles will only file the files on the Desktop. The other features of FileMyFiles are disabled in the demo version.
