On the weekend prior to Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference, "MacTech Magazine" (http://www.mactech.com) announced it will be holding the MacTech Conference for IT Pros and Mac developers, Nov. 3-5, 2010 in Los Angeles.

The three-day, session-packed event will have sessions and activities throughout the day and evening giving attendees the opportunity to not only learn from the best, but get to know others in the industry.

"We've been considering a conference for many years now, but the timing was never quite right. Now, the timing is right, and 'MacTech' is here to serve the community," said Neil Ticktin, editor-in-chief/publisher, "MacTech Magazine." "In both the IT and development communities, bonding with peers is among the top requests, and the MacTech Conference will be built to serve those wishes from beginning."

The MacTech Conference will have two separate tracks: one focused on IT, and one focused on programming/development. Sessions will focus on both desktop and mobile, with appropriate levels of attention paid to Mac, iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. "The whole idea of the MacTech Conference is to allow members of the Apple community to meet and exchange ideas," said Edward Marczak, conference chair and executive editor of "MacTech Magazine." "This will be spurred on by presentations from some of the best and well-known in the community."
