Memoires journaling software improves Snow Leopard support

Coding Robots has updated their Memoires journaling software (http://www.codingrobots.com/memoires/) for Mac OS X to version 3.0. The upgrade improves support for Mac OS X 10.6 features and more.

With Memoires, users can choose a day and write as many notes for that day as they like. Then they can browse entries by date using calendar, or search for notes using the instant search feature.

The new version includes Quick Drawings feature, that allows users to create sketches using mouse or trackpad and insert them into journal entries. In addition to RTF and plain text exporting, Memoires 3.0 can now export journals to PDF format. Users can also print single entries, entries for a specified period of time, or the whole journal.

Version 3.0 improves support for Mac OS X 10.6 features, such as grammar checking, automatic correction of spelling errors, smart quotes and dashes, text substitutions, and data detectors. The Universal binary now includes 64-bit version. To help users stay more focused on writing their journal entries, Memoires now includes the full screen editing mode.

Mémoires costs approximately US$29.95 for a single-user license and $49.95 for a family pack. A trial version is available for download. Mémoires is an Universal Binary application so runs natively on both PowerPC and Intel Macs. Memoires runs on Mac OS X 10.5 and higher.
