"Valleywag" (http://gawker.com/5525569/conference-comeback-for-steve-jobs) says Apple CEO Steve Jobs may appear at the "Wall Street Journal's" D Conference (http://allthingsd.com/d/) in June for the first time in three years. "May" is the key word.
Speakers confirmed for the event -- with tickets are priced at US$4,500 -- tickets cost $4,500 -- include Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, movie director James Cameron and AOL co-founder Steve Case. The event will be held in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, June 1-3.
All Things D's Kara Swisher told "Valleywag" that Jobs has been "invited" to D and wouldn't comment further. If he showed up, it would be his first D appearance since 2007 when he appeared on stage with Bill Gates.
