I don't know of a sure-fire recipe but I have never had my popovers
fail. I make them quite often for week-end breakfast. My family eats
them with peanut butter and maple syrup (yuck). I prefer them with
butter. Anyway, below is my recipe.
POPOVERS
1 Cup Flour
1 Cup Milk
4 Eggs
1 Teaspoon Salt
4 Tablespoons Melted Butter or Margarine
Place all ingredients into a blender and blend on high until the
ingredients are blended well (about 2 minutes). The consistency should
be runny (I did have them not puff up so high when the consistency
wasn't runny enough). Grease the Popover Pan or muffin pan (I know
true cooks wouldn't approve but I use PAM, it's easier) Fill Popover
Pan or muffin pan 1/2 full with Batter. Bake at 400 degrees for about
20 minutes. Serve hot.
