Select Tool

Selects, moves and transforms Objects on the stage by clicking and dragging.

When using the Select tool the Tool Options of Scale, Resize, Rotate/Skew and Perspective are available.

To Select Objects
Click on the Object.

   

Note:

·	To select multiple Objects, press and hold the Shift key while clicking, or drag the cursor to select surrounded Objects (marquee selection)

·	To toggle the selection status of an Object, press and hold the Control key down while clicking

·	Double-click on the Object to display its properties in the Object Panel

To move Objects

1.	Position the mouse cursor over the Object and move over the Object until the cursor changes shape to the one shown below. See Cursors and Anchors for more information on the meaning of cursor shapes

2.	Press and hold the left mouse button

3.	Drag the Object to the new position and release the mouse

   

To move the Object Anchor Point

1.	Position the mouse cursor over the Object Anchor Handle. See Cursors and Anchors for more information on the meaning of cursor shapes. The cursor should change to the one shown below

2.	Press and hold the Alt key and the left mouse button

3.	Drag the Anchor Point to the new position and release the mouse
