A need for a change ...
"We were looking for a solution for meeting scheduling, messaging and group diaries. As users of Lotus Organiser 1.0, we evaluated Organiser 2.0 and found that it did not provide the functionality we required. We decided to evaluate Sareen Software's OfficeTalk in March 1995 on the basis of the favourable press coverage it had received.

Easy to get up and running ...
We found OfficeTalk quick and easy to install. Our initial group of pilot users were up and running and getting benefits from the system within a couple of days. Having evaluated OfficeTalk, we found that its high level of functionality met all our key requirements. It is also extremely usable, an important factor when introducing any application across an organisation. We decided to purchase the system and begin full scale implementation for 60 users at the end of April.

A comprehensive solution at an excellent price ...
In use, we have found the meeting scheduling, and particularly the ease with which meetings can be rescheduled, to be excellent. The easy access to other users' diaries and group views is just what is required. The combination of a highly usable and functional mail system, with quick and easy notifications provides an excellent solution to our messaging requirements.

A further bonus is the close integration of messaging with the rest of OfficeTalk, particularly meeting scheduling. We use OfficeTalk's contact management a lot. It is easy to use and provides the functionality we need.

All in all, OfficeTalk provides an excellent solution to our requirements and, at ú50 per user, is extremely good value for money."
