RISC World compilation DVD and CD and back issues now available

A bi-monthly format was chosen because most people will now receive the most immediate news through the internet. Producing six large CDs per year instead of twelve smaller issues enables us to keep the price down to the amazingly low level of only £24.90 per year for UK subscribers and just £27.50 overseas.

Important news - RISC World subscribers can now claim a 10% discount off all software published by APDL, APDL-ProAction and iSV Products. This won't apply to 'third party' titles sold by APDL, such as David Pilling's Ovation Pro, or to hardware, but it does include the Topologika titles, since the RISC OS versions are now published by APDL-ProAction.

To qualify you simply need to be a current RISC World subscriber, that is, your subscription must not have expired, and the goods would normally need to be delivered to the subscription address. So when you order by phone, e-mail or by post remember to state that you are a RISC World subscriber. If you don't say so at the time of ordering then you won't get a discount on the order, the system isn't automatic and relies on you asking for the discount!

If your RISC World subscription has lapsed then you can renew it at the time of ordering and still claim your 10% discount.

  Compilation DVD and CD

  We were often asked if we could produce a RISC World compilation, but as an issue of each volume nearly fills a CD it wouldn't really have been possible. However, as many more RISC OS users now have a DVD drives we have produced a RISC World DVD. This contains all the articles and all the software from the first very beginning of RISC World. The complete contents of Volume 1 to Volume 7.

  Since that's a lot of magazines, to make it easy to find that elusive article you remember reading but can't recall when we've included a special HTML search program that will let you scan the entire magazine for keywords.

  As if the price of £29 wasn't a big enough bargain current subscribers can obtain the compilation DVD or CD at an even lower price.

  For people who don't yet have a DVD drive we can also supply the complete six volumes of RISC World without the software on CD.

  We do not normally sell individual back issues, however we can supply each complete volume of RISC World. This contains the full contents of that year's issues, plus all the software, and usenet archive. If you are not a RISC World subscriber, or have subscribed recently and want to catch up on the back issues and all that free software, these CDs are a terrific bargain.

  Advertising in RISC World

  RISC World offers extremely low rates to commercial advertisers and unlike printed magazines you aren't limited to just a few square centimetres of paper to get your message across. Adverts are normally in the form of HTML, and this medium has a lot of potential. You can even use your normal web site and promote your company to people who might not have found you on the net.
