APDL PD-1

This CD contains most of the 'serious' software in the APDL Publuc Domain library, that is, the useful applications and programs. As well as over 1,800 programs there are things like the TeX package, GNU C++, and many text files including dozens of out-of-copyright novels and the works of Shakespeare. All this on just one CD!

APDL PD-1

This CD contains most of the less serious items in the PD library. It has around 700 games and novelties, over 250 games cheats and more than 200 Demos. There are many popular music players and more than 400 Maestro tunes, 840 Tracker tunes, 1000 Digital Symphony tunes and over 550 sound samples in various formats.

Issue 2 of the first DataFile PD CD. Contains just about every PD program available for Acorn computers at the time.

DataFile PD-3

Lots of 'normal' PD programs but the main features of this CD are a large collection of Acorn Replay movies, including some exclusive Red Dwarf stuff, and a collection of Psion/Pocket Book software.

DataFile PD-4

Again, lots of PD and Shareware but this CD also includes the raytracing program Merlin and a copy of Risc BSD with a selection of UNIX PD and Freeware.

DataFile PD-5

The contents of this CD were billed ad 'all Strong ARM compatible'. Not so much PD as the earlier versions, but it's more likely to run on later machines. It also contains hundreds of text files from Project Gutenburg.

Fantasy Pictures

In the Graphics section of the PD library was a collection of 45 discs of fantasy art. Many of these are 'Sword and Sourcery' genre, ie. muscular men weilding swords, scantily clad but capable women and ferocious monsters. They are all sprite files that can be loaded into applications or are just great as backdrops. There are over 320 high quality pictures on this CD, in sizes up to 1800 x 1300, plus a complete 'thumnail' catalogue.
