  9.             was so high, that I found it hard 
  10.             to follow his advice.

  12. 39   INT. CORRIDOR

  14.     Sisko is walking through the empty Corridor.
  15.  
  16.                     SISKO (V.O.) 
  17.             If Vreenak discovered the data-rod 
  18.             was a forgery, if he realized that 
  19.             we were trying to trick them into 
  20.             war, it could push the Romulans 
  21.             even farther into the enemy camp. 
  22.             They could start to openly help 
  23.             the Dominion. If worse came to 
  24.             worst, they could actually join 
  25.             the war against us. I had the 
  26.             distinct feeling that victory or 
  27.             defeat would be decided in the 
  28.             next few minutes.

  30.     Sisko pauses outside the door for a moment, takes a 
  31.     deep breath, and then EXITS to...
  32.  
  33. 40   INT. WARDROOM - CONTINUOUS
  34.  
  35.     As Sisko ENTERS. Vreenak is already here, his face 
  36.     carefully neutral, giving no hint as to what he's 
  37.     found. He stares at Sisko for a long moment... then 
  38.     finally he lets his true feelings show.
  39.  
  40.                     VREENAK 
  41.                 (furious) 
  42.             It's a fake.
  43.  
  44.     Off the stricken look on Sisko's face...
  45.  
  46.                                     FADE OUT.
