  6.     Sisko on the couch. He's got a bottle of something 
  7.     dark and amber now and he pours himself a drink.

  9.                     SISKO
  10.             It was good to know that the old 
  11.             man was on my side, even if she 
  12.             didn't know what was really going 
  13.             on.
  14.                 (beat) 
  15.             In any case, I was way past the 
  16.             point of no return. There was 
  17.             nothing to do but wait and see how 
  18.             masterful Tolar's forgery really 
  19.             was.
  20.  
  21.     He takes a drink.

  23.                     SISKO
  24.             So I waited. Tried to catch up 
  25.             on my paperwork, but I couldn't 
  26.             really focus on criminal activity 
  27.             reports or cargo manifests... I 
  28.             went back to pacing and staring 
  29.             out the window.
  30.                 (beat)
  31.             I don't think of myself as an
  32.             impatient man. I don't agonize
  33.             over decisions once they're made.
  34.             I got that from my father. He
  35.             always said that worry and doubt
  36.             were the greatest enemies of a
  37.             chef. "The souffle will rise or
  38.             it won't," he used to say.
  39.             "There's not a damn thing you can
  40.             do about it, so just sit back and
  41.             see what happens."
