Volume 7 (Light Green Cover)

Wherefore Art Thou, Romeo?: Akane is apparently tired of being in plays. She hates playing the role of the tomboy and when the Furinkan High Theatre club tells her they want her to play the lead in their play, she flatly turns them down at first. But when the play happens to be "Romeo and Juliet", she's quick to take the part, to Ranma's surprise. It seems that as a kid, Akane starred in Romeo and Juliet - but as Romeo! This time, Akane gets to fulfill her dream of being Juliet. But it could be ruined by Happosai, Kunou, Gosunkugi, and Ranma (who's in it to wint he first prize trip to China), all of whom want Romeo's part and who have decided to have it out on the stage to find out who the _real_ Romeo is....

Romeo? Romeo? Romeo!?: It's the dayof the contest,a nd everything seems to be in place for "Romeo and Juliet". Happosai attempts to prevent Ranma from showing by burying him in the yard, but Ranma manages to escape (cement block and all) to and get there on time. The play starts, and in the battle royal, Ranma comes out on top. Unfortunately for Akane and him both, he hasn't taken the time to memorize any lines..it's gonna take Soun and Genma to help Ranma through the love scene, but Ranma's adamantly refuses to kiss Akane in public..

Not Your Typical Juliet: Ranma's unwilling to kiss Akane, drawing boos from the crowd. Happosai boots him away - but Ranma's set on earning that free trip to China..even if that means using a little cold water and turning himself into another Juliet! Meanwhile, a hurt Akane storms off the stage...

A Kiss to the Victor: All Ranma has to do to win the contest and a chance to get to a cure, is finish a kissing scene with Akane/Juliet. But even though a cure for his curse is on the line, Ranma's just a little bit reluctant to do something like that in public with a person he might actually care about...

Quest for the Hidden Spring: Ryoga just happens to find a map that leads to a "Japanese Nannichuan" - a sure-fire way to be cured without having to go all the way to China! Ranma teams with Ryoga, and together they set out, following the map to the "Spring of Drowned Man"'s location. But Ranma and Ryoga didn't count on the spring's location, which happens to be underneath the Furinkan High school's girls' locker room! Now Ranma and Ryoga have to team up and find a way to get into the room without getting kicked out for being total perverts...

The Trouble With Girls' Locker Rooms: Ranma and Ryoga have agreed to try to get through a bunch of girls led by Akane, sworn to defend the locker room to the death against the two, even if the cure is right beneath their feet...Ranma and Ryoga try all sorts of schemes to get into the locker room, including Onna-Ranma sneaking in, Ryoga (as P-chan) trying to sneak in, and other things. But when Ryoga betrays Ranma and switches sides, Ranma has to try and disguise himself and get into the room again - but little does he know that a certain old pervert may become an unlikely (and unexpected) ally..

From the Spring, Springs a Message: Ranma attempts to use scary creatures (snakes, frogs, and the like) to scare away the females gathered in front of the locker room. Managing to evade Akane and the others, Onna-Ranma finally gets into the room - only to be mistakenly attacked by Ryoga, who doesn't see through her disguise. Ranma has to use some trickery to get around Ryoga, and eventually has to explain to an angry Akane why she's going to all this trouble. The spring is finally found, but Ranma and Ryoga are going to find out that this particular spring has had some "technical problems"...

The Way the Cookie Crumbles: Ranma's in a bad situation when he has to try Akane's new batch of cookies, but all of all people, Kodachi the Black Rose saves him by taking the cookies away. Ranma chases Kodachi, only to accidentally get trampled and fall into a very incriminating position on top of Kodachi! Gosunkugi happened to take a picture of the moment, and now Kodachi has copies of the pic and is spreading them all over town. Ranma has to get rid of them all and rushes out to stop the Black Rose from humiliating him and possibly getting ihm into trouble with Akane..

Negative Feelings: Ranma at first tries to eat all the photos Kodahci is spreading around, but then realizes that the only way to get rid of the incriminating photo of him and Kodachi is to go to the Kuno estate and destroy the negative. The negative happens to be in Kodachi's pet alligator's collar, of all places, and Ranma has to get the collar off and avoid being electrocuted by it to get the negative. Meanwhile, Akane's followed Ranma to the Kuno house, and she's going to find more there than just her missing cookies...

Take me Out to the Bathtub: Akane's sneaking around the Kuno estate, trying to find out what exactly has Ranma all nervous. In the process she acquires a copy of the photo from Kodachi...but unbeknowest to her it's been subtly doctored to show Ranma _kissing_ Kodachi! Meanwhile Onna-Ranma attempts to get the belt off of Kuno by pretending to seduce him. He succeeds in getting the negatives, but they make no difference to an angry Akane, who thinks they were in a more compromising position than he thinks they were in...

..I Ate the whole Thing: Akane's been trapped by Kodachi and now Ranma has to outsmart both Kuno and Kodachi to get to her. Ranma may even have to eat some of Kodachi's "treated" food in order to get the key to the negative and free Akane. Ranma may end up being forced to make the infamous photo a reality, though, and Akane could be the only one that can save him...
