Using Microsoft Mail

Internet Explorer 3.0's in-built mailer offers some handy tools.
By David Flynn

The Inbox Assistant lets you set basic `rules' for automatically forwarding into a particular folder incoming mail which meets some very basic criteria. It's nothing to write home about (or e-mail home, for that matter) but it is handy if you have several accounts.

If you're running Office 95, Microsoft Internet Mail uses the Office dictionary to keep an eye on your spelling.

Dress up your e-mail with the same fancy formatting by choosing to send messages in `HTML format' rather than boring old ASCII.

See E-mail Basics for more tips on using Microsoft Mail.
