PowerPC Systems from PIOS

Next-Generation RISC-based Computers from PIOS were officially announced at CeBIT '97 in Hannover.

Two machines derive from the "PIOS ONE" hardware design, namely the transAM, considered by many the long-awaited successor of the Amiga, and as the second product line the Maxxtrem as a Macintosh-compatible Personal Computer. These machines are not yet available, they are in final state of development.

The third new product is called KEENYA and is based on the Motorola "Tanzania" board. It is a Macintosh-compatible computer, available with a PPC 604e CPU at 200 MHz.

Please visit the products section for more information.
