HELP!

I can't download?
If when clicking on a filename to download your browser displays the file to the screen and doesn't download it check your browsers configuration.
You can also try holding down a shift key and then clicking on the file you wish to download. This will on most browsers force the download to be placed on your hard disk.

What is DMS?
The DISK-Masher (DMS) is a utility which allows one to archive whole disks while preserving the disk-structure.
The version I use is,
The DISK-Masher: Command Line Version 1.11 TURBO GENERIC
Copyright 1989-91 SDS Software. All Rights Reserved.

How do I unpack a DMS file?
First off you will need a copy of DMS v1.11 or better.
If you haven't got DMS then download DMS111.RUN and run it. Once run it will automaticly unpack itself. Copy the DMS file into your C directory.

To unpack a DMS file (MB_OCT96.DMS) simply place a formatted disk in drive DF0: and now open a Shell/CLi and type,

DMS Write RAM:MB_OCT96.DMS To DF0:

The above assumes that you have the file you wish to unpack in RAM:, you can have the file in any location on you hard drive. Just remember to supply the full path like so,

DMS Write DH1:DOWNLOADS/MB_OCT96.DMS To DF0:

If your still stuck enter in a Shell/Cli,

DMS Help

and this will display a help file on the use of DMS.
