: What is that bullshit about abusing workers to get a promotion?

Of course you would deny that.

: Im not saying I don't ever lose my cool, but do you think that its fair that some customer is screaming at me cause the kid on front cash just stands there twiddling his thumbs instead of giving the customers their food.

So you shout at the "kid" in turn. And that's ok, is it. Have they trained you how to motivate your crew without abusing them?

By the way, do you always refer to your staff as kids?

:Or the kid who when told to do a different tasks starts yelling at me and telling me that he can just walk out and go get another job.
No its not and its not fair for a manager to yell at employees. When I lose my cool I tell the employee to do as asked or leave.

Just as I said. If the employee says "I'll walk out" it's not ok, but if you tell threaten to sack them, it's fine because after all you "have a job to do" and presumably they don't.

:Ive got a job to do and so do they. Stop pushing this bullshit that being a jerk is part of the job.

It seems I am right though doesn't it, if your attitude here is enything to go by.
