I don't have to deny anything.

The promotion I got was after working at BK for 3.5 years. I moved across country and worked at another BK for 2 months and was asked to go into management. The other crew members were roughnecks and I would never have even thought about saying something rude or snide to them for fear I'd get beat up. So my attitude had nothing to do with my promotion. It had to do with doing a good job. I also don't have an attitude with my employees, and they seem to like me . As for sending someone home because they do not do what I ask of them, their job is to do what I feel needs to be done. Therefore if they don't do what I ask of them then they are not doing their job.

I am always open to suggestions from my employees but if I feel something is critical then I won't budge. I can laugh and joke around with my employees because we are close in age but when it comes down to it I have a job to do and Im not going to risk it because someone does not want to do their work. Im highly motivated, Is that a bad thing?
