What is that bullshit about abusing workers to get a promotion? If I did that my employees would complain about me to the higher ups and Id get in trouble. I also wouldn't want to abuse my employees. I tell them on a daily basis how much I appreciate them and how they are like a family to me. Im not saying I don't ever lose my cool, but do you think that its fair that some customer is screaming at me cause the kid on front cash just stands there twiddling his thumbs instead of giving the customers their food. Or the kid who when told to do a different tasks starts yelling at me and telling me that he can just walk out and go get another job. No its not and its not fair for a manager to yell at employees. When I lose my cool I tell the employee to do as asked or leave. Ive got a job to do and so do they. Stop pushing this bullshit that being a jerk is part of the job.
