Okay, this is it. I have found proof that people will be offended by any little bit of recognization that is given to an individual person or group of people if everybody can't share honor. The packets are designed for moms who order Happy-meals. I give them to any adult who orders a Happy-meal and I don't say that they are for moms specificaly. Usually, they are thrilled to get such a little goodie bag.

I honestly didn't think that dads or DINKs who like to eat Happy-meals would be upset. As a matter of fact, when I was informed about the gift pack promotion, my crew mates and I joked about how ACLU would have a field day with this one. I really didn't think that anyone would have a problem with it.

So just lighten up, alright? It's no big deal. I you want a gift pack, just ask for one. I don't see it as discrimination at all. It would only be discrimination if we refused to give them to anyone besides moms. It is no different than when a McDonald's employee gives your kids a game and says, "Here's a little something for the kids." Would you be pissed about that? How is this situation any different?

I look forward to your response.

Cara
