Geez, I didn't mean to upset you. Obviously I hit a nerve. It just seems that so many of society's problems today are caused by a lack of acceptance of responsibility and/or accountability. It always seems to be someone else's fault. Like kids blaming their parents because they turn out (to be) hoodlums and end up in jail; or people turning to the courts to settle disputes that in times past were settled informally.

Anyway, don't take it personally. Perhaps you are right and McDonalds has an inherently unsafe design in their playgrounds. Think of what a great hero you could be to the parents of the world if you took this issue to McDonalds in a positive and helpful manner (and in writing). You would then force them to consult their legal staff, hire safety engineers and consultants, and just maybe, fix it. That way, your child (and the rest of the world's children could safely play while you are are once again enjoying McDonalds' tasty food.

(Incidentally, do you think that McDonalds would be better off without the playgrounds? If they are unsafe, maybe they should close them.)
