  20. In order to use the scenery files you will need:
  21.  
  22.         * Flight Simulator 4
  23.         * Aircraft & Scenery Designer
  24.         * European Scenery disk
  25.         * (A detailed map covering Frankfurt area)
  26.         * (Jeppesen Frankfurt/Main, Germany Area Chart)
  27.         * (Jeppesen Frankfurt/Main, Germany Airport Chart)

  31. These scenery files contain:
  32.  
  33.        * Nav aids (All important VOR's and NDB's of Jeppesen
  34.          Frankfurt/Main Area Chart)
  35.        * detailed airport layout of Rhein-Main International Airport
  36.          including U.S. Air Force Base 
  37.        * ILS, control towers, airport buildings, hangars, some dynamic
  38.          scenery  
  39.        * Boats cruising on the river Main and other scenery objects crucial
  40.          for aerial navigation will be added later.

  42. Airports and NAV aids are based on data from "Frankfurt/Main, Ger. Area" and "Airport" maps from Jeppesen.

  44. The size of FRA-1-WE.SC1 is about 5984 bytes and the size of FRA-1-WE.DY1
  45. is about 9632 bytes.

  47. Due to mismatches of location/FS coordinates in the European scenery file,
  48. several attempts were necessary to achieve maximum accuracy.  Using the 
  49. default NAV aids and relative bearings for locating scenery spots appeared 
  50. to be the most appropriate method and has therefor been applied throughout.
