Greek Recipe #3: Steak

2 lbs top round steak, sliced 1/4" thick and tenderized
1/2 cup flour
1/2 t salt
1/2 t pepper
1/2 cup oil
2 cloves garlic
1 1/2 cups red vinegar
1 cup water
1 t sugar
Combine salt, pepper and flour. Coat meat on both sides
with flour mixture.
Heat oil in a large skillet. Brown meat over medium heat
for 4 to 5 minutes on each side. Add garlic, vinegar,
water and sugar. Bring to a boil. Reduce to simmer. Cover.
Cook 1 1/2 hours.
Serve with bread.
