  1. Greek Recipe #3: Steak

  4. 2 lbs top round steak, sliced 1/4" thick and tenderized
  5. 1/2 cup flour
  6. 1/2 t salt
  7. 1/2 t pepper
  8. 1/2 cup oil
  9. 2 cloves garlic
  10. 1 1/2 cups red vinegar
  11. 1 cup water
  12. 1 t sugar

  14. Combine salt, pepper and flour. Coat meat on both sides
  15. with flour mixture.

  17. Heat oil in a large skillet. Brown meat over medium heat
  18. for 4 to 5 minutes on each side. Add garlic, vinegar,
  19. water and sugar. Bring to a boil. Reduce to simmer. Cover.
  20. Cook 1 1/2 hours.

  22. Serve with bread.
