HALIBUT WITH HERBS

I%1, lb, halibut, 4 steaks
I%1,T, margarine
I%1, c, milk
I%2, T, flour
I%1/4, tsp, salt
I%1/4, tsp, garlic salt
I%1/8, tsp, black pepper
I%1/8, tsp, thyme
I%1, pinch, oregano
I%1/4, c, green onion, chopped
I%1/4, tsp, paprika

R% Put the halbut steaks in a small baking dish and dot with
R%margarine.
R% Blend the milk and flour thoroughly (I like to use a shaker).
R% Pour the milk and flour mixture into a saucepan and cook over
R%medium heat until the sauce thickens and bubbles. Stir constantly.
R%Cook and continue stirring for one minute more.
R% Add in the salt, garlic salt, pepper, thyme, oregano, and green
R%onion. Stir.
R% Pour the sauce over the steaks and sprinkle with paprika.
R% Bake uncovered for 25 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
