  4. I cycled to the reserve, and planted two little ivy plants, in the clearing
  5. at the top. I walked down, where I met Alan, and saw a lesser spotted
  6. woodpecker. Also present were the usual things.

  8. The ponds didn't show much sign of filling up, following the recent rain,
  9. and there was none in the Fen.
