Shinobu Akimoto is a multi-media artist born in Japan in 1965. Akimoto received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kanagawa University, a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Victoria, and studied in the Master of Fine Arts degree programme at the University of Western Ontario.
Scope and content
The work consists of two colour photoprints, 10 x 15 cm, from a collection of 150 photographs taken by the artist in Japan for the 'Secretary Life Project" in 1997.
