Luis Pereira is an artist whose practice encompasses mixed media installation, drawing, and writing, born in Vila Paiva de Andrada, Chitato, Angola, in 1964. He studied at the University of Guelph where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1987, and at the University of Ottawa, where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree magna cum laude in 1990.
Scope and content
The material consists of a folder of eight pages of text and drawings, numbered in pencil on the reverse of each sheet, forming a part of a supplementary text to accompany "study no.1" an installation, by Luis Pereira, [1995], this part titled "(a) point of departure, introduction, to be later replaced with 'extractions.'"
