  18. Windows NT does not install properly on Micronics 486DX/66 computers with
  19. Ultrastor 34F.
  20.  
  21. When you start Windows NT on a Micronics 486DX/66 computer, the NTLOADER
  22. starts, the screen clears to blue, NTLOADER queries the hard disk and then
  23. you receive the following trap error message:

  25.    0X7B Inaccessible Boot Device.
  26.  
  27. CAUSE
  28. =====
  29.  
  30. This problem is related to the combination of Ultrastor 34F disk
  31. controller and the Micronics board (09-00183-06 486DX/66).
  32.  
  33. WORKAROUND
  34. ==========
  35.  
  36. To work around this problem, do the following.
  37.  
  38. 1. Make sure the Micronics computer has the latest Phoenix BIOS (0.01 JX30-
  39.    06, Rev. B3).
  40.  
  41. 2. Replace the Ultrastor 34F with a Bustec BT-445S.
  42.  
  43. Other workarounds using different hardware may also work.
  44.
