  19. If you remove the Event Viewer keys for an application that you are
  20. monitoring in Event Viewer, it fails to start. For example, if you
  21. are monitoring SQL Server events and you go into the Registry and
  22. remove the Event Viewer keys for SQL Server, Event Viewer will no
  23. longer start.

  28. Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT and
  29. Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1. This problem was corrected in
  30. the latest U.S. Service Pack for Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced
  31. Server version 3.1. For information on obtaining the Service Pack,
  32. query on the following word in the Microsoft Knowledge Base (without
