  19. When you instruct Windows NT Setup to convert an HPFS volume to NTFS
  20. or use the CONVERT command at the command line, the file system
  21. conversion fails and the following error message appears:

  23.    The conversion failed. The [drive] was not converted to NTFS.

  28. Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT and
  29. Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1. This problem was corrected in
  30. the latest U.S. Service Pack for Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced
  31. Server version 3.1. For information on obtaining the Service Pack,
  32. query on the following word in the Microsoft Knowledge Base (without
