It has its own place in ancient history and has survived as one of the most well known and used of all herbs. Most commonly the grey-green leaves are dried and "rubbed" or powdered before addition to many food dishes. Fresh sage lends itself to the enhancement of many a masterpiece pork or poultry dish, however . I Sage Tea anyone? Start with a teaspoon of tea leaves, add a D couple of teaspoons of fresh mint and '2 teaspoon of fresh sage. E Steep with 3 cups of boiling water for 5 to 10 min. and add A sugar & lemon to taste. One more good reason to grow your own fresh herbs! Handy!
