Cover your work surface with newspaper. Then fold the paper towel so it will fit neatly into the meat tray. Dampen the paper towel with water and then place it in meat tray. Pour a small amount of paint over the paper towel.
Now make a fist and dip the side of your hand into the paint.
STEP 2
Press the painted part of your hand onto the paper. Then lift your hand from the paper to see what kind of dinosaur footprint you made!
STEP 3
If you like, dip your thumb or fingers into the paint and add toes or claws to the footprint. Let the paint dry. Don't forget to wash your hands!
And that's the way to make little dino footprints!
HERE'S A COOL IDEA:
Make wrapping paper with your children's footprints. Have your children go outside and paint the bottoms of their feet with tempera paint. Ask them to walk around on a large piece of white paper. When the paint dries, use the paper for giftwrap. Friends and grandparents will love it!
