First, before you start this project, wash out the milk carton thoroughly. With adult help, use a crafts knife to cut a hole in the bottom of the carton so a flashlight will fit. Then let it dry.
One side of the carton has been opened for pouring. You'll need to open up the other side too. Now you're ready to begin.
STEP 2
Lay the little-house carton on the piece of construction paper. Then wrap the paper around the carton and tape it in place.
Next, close the carton's top by tucking the sides back into place. Then tape the carton top closed.
STEP 3
Use a crayon to draw 3 or 4 windows and 1 or 2 doors on your house. Can you make it look like a house you've seen?
With adult help, carefully use the crafts knife to cut out the windows and doors.
STEP 4
To make the house's roof, fold the rectangular piece of construction paper in half. And glue the roof to the top of the carton. Now decorate your house any way you like! You've just built your very own little house nightlight!
