  1. BOUNCY BATS
  2.  
  3. YOU'LL NEED:
  4. Black construction paper
  5. Pencil
  6. Scissors
  7. 2 plastic foam egg carton cups
  8. 1 large rubber band, cut in half
  9. Tape
  10. White crafts glue
  11. Buttons, cereal, or shaky eyes
  12.  
  13. STEP 1
  14. Draw a bat wing on the paper.  Use scissors to cut out 2 wings.
  15.  
  16. STEP 2
  17. Put a piece of tape onto 1 end of each bat wing.  Then lay the taped ends inside an egg cup and tape in place.

  19. Put a piece of tape on 1 end of the rubber band.  And then place the taped end inside the egg cup between the wings.  Press the tape to hold rubber band in place.

  21. STEP 3
  22. To make the bat's body, hold the 2 cups back to back and tape them together.  For the eyes, glue buttons onto the egg cup.

  24. STEP 4
  25. Make your bat special by decorating it.  Give your bat ears by cutting out small paper triangles and taping them onto the head.

  27. Or, make a funny mouth by gluing paper, cereal, or buttons onto the face.
  28. Make your bat pretty by coloring the wings or gluing on glitter.

  31. SOME COOL IDEAS:
  32. Make your bat special by decorating it. Give your bat ears by cutting out small paper triangles and taping them onto the head. Or, make a funny mouth by gluing paper, cereal, or buttons onto the face. Make your bat sparkle by gluing on glitter.
