  10. the improvements Todd made on
  11. GEOPublish through a tutorial on the
  12. capabilities of the program.

  15. games produced in Germany.

  26.   Eric Kudzin demonstrated an ATM
  27. training unit he rescued from a
  28. dumpster. Only later did he discover
  29. that the innards consisted of a C-64,
  30. and the cartridge program was in
  31. BASIC!

  33.   Jeri Ellsworth brought us up to date
  34. on her C1 drama. The unit Dave Witmer
  35. has in the lexan case now runs in
  36. monochrome and still needs disk
  37. access. She is working for a company
  38. in L.A. that makes Programmable CPUs
  39. (right up her alley with the C1), and
  40. commutes to southern California from
  41. her home in Portland, OR, as needed
  42. for consultation. Unfortunately, the
  43. company has not paid her recently. On
  44. the other hand, Jeri has not released
  45. the files of her work -- so something
  46. will be worked out.

  55.   After her presentation, Jeri was
  56. approached by Eric, who got down on
  57. his knee before her and offered her a
  58. small jewelery box -- containing SID
  59. chips. He had etched off the tops of
  60. three different versions of SID, and
  61. publicly proposed that she...get
  62. photomicrographs of them.

  78. drive to show. The new operating
  79. system allows using large capacity
  80. drives and offers extra features such
  81. as print spooling. The units are not
  82. quite ready but will be available

  95. bringing more Commodore Legend and
  96. Lore to the faithful. He did a
  97. "fingers-on" demo showing how the C-64
  98. system is easily manipulated. With a
  99. few POKES, he changed the READY prompt
  100. to BANANA, turned POKE to PUKE and
  101. LIST to LUST. Then with just one more
  102. POKE (that is, PUKE), all was back to
  103. normal.
