  4.    Swift POS has a limited but effective ACCOUNTS
  5.    RECEIVABLE function. In the event the small
  6.    business wishes to take partial payment for
  7.    goods or services, Swift POS can keep track
  8.    of the balance due and allow payments to be 
  9.    made against the outstanding balance.

  11.    The RECEIVABLES selection under the FILE menu 
  12.    at the top of the screen opens a list of customer
  13.    invoices with a positive balance due. The user
  14.    can then search for the customer by typing the
  15.    first letters of the last name and when the cus-
  16.    tomer is located, clicking on the name will bring
  17.    up the invoice information.

  19.    It is possible to enter more partial payments or
  20.    pay the entire amount using either the CASH or
  21.    CREDIT button. The program can track up to two
  22.    credit card authorizations per sale and will take
  23.    unlimited cash transactions.

  25.    When the sale is complete, an invoice is printed
  26.    to reflect the payment. This transaction is not
  27.    recorded in the database as a separate transaction
  28.    however the database is updated to reflect the 
  29.    current balance information.
