  7. A new edition of "Assigned Numbers" was published in July as RFC 1340.
  8. This 139 page document is the up-to-date listing of assigned protocol
  9. numbers, port numbers, enterprise numbers, telnet options, and other
  10. protocol parameters.

  12. The IANA is the central coordinator for the assignment of unique
  13. parameter values.  Requests for parameter assignments should be sent
  14. to <iana@isi.edu>.
