  13. I am interested in putting a 5spd manual transmission in a `61
  14. Chevy Truck.  I currently have a 3spd manual which causes the 
  15. truck to run at high RPM's during highway driving.  I would 
  16. love to convert to a 5spd manual.  I suspect that the 5spd 
  17. manuals that Chevrolet has been putting in there full sized
  18. trucks the last few years might work (with a few mods).  Can
  19. anyone tell me where to start.  How can I determine bolt pattern,
  20. transmission length, etc.  Are there books that might give 
  21. me adequate cross reference data?  Has anyone seen an article 
  22. concerning this mod?
