- That's what I was taught as well. However, my one year-old Saturn SC
- has the stock Firestone Firehawk radials, and the owner's manual
- clearly indicates a diagonal tire rotation. I thought moving a radial
- to the other side of the car could cause the tire to fail by separating
- the steel from the rubber. But hey, I'm just a software guy; what do I
- know?
