  34. That's what I was taught as well.  However, my one year-old Saturn SC
  35. has the stock Firestone Firehawk radials, and the owner's manual
  36. clearly indicates a diagonal tire rotation.  I thought moving a radial
  37. to the other side of the car could cause the tire to fail by separating
  38. the steel from the rubber.  But hey, I'm just a software guy; what do I
  39. know?

  41. Perhaps radial tire technology has improved in the last few years...
