  30. we don't know the community standards until ruling is made.

  37.    Does this include educational value? Maybe a combination of literary
  38. and scientific? An intro sexuality text doesn't pass any of these specific
  39. tests, but has some 'value', right?

  41.    In my opinion, point #2 mean that sysadmins don't have to worry about
  42. judging obscenity for themselves. And don't forget that #3 specifies taking
  43. the work as a whole. How does that apply to a.b.p.e? IS the newsgroup a
  44. whole? Or is an individual posting a whole? Or is it the original publication
  45. used for the test? Does the fact that what is stored on your system is
  46. actually uuencoded mean that it can't be obscene. ASCII characters don't turn
  47. me on.
