  14. I recently switched from an ESDI setup to a SCSI setup.  On reinstalling
  15. linux from SLS ver 0.98pl1 i got numerous floppy overrun/underrun errors...
  16. retrying, etc.  This happened both when I was mkefs -c -ing the drive, and
  17. on the install from floppies.  I don't remember this happening when I installed
  18. on the ESDI drive.  My new controller is a Ultrastore 14F.  But everything
  19. seems to work in the end.  I have X and all up and running, so I guess the
  20. retries worked, but anyone know why I might have gotten these errors or whether
  21. its serious or not?
