- In the meanwhile we did what we should have done first: We
- tried it :). It seems that the SGI hardware is even better
- than the people at SGI think :)). The video cable is about
- 60m now, and the keyboard cable is even longer. Everything
- just seems to work fine! We also had a Personal Iris directly
- attached to the video projector. We weren't able to observe
- a real difference in the quality of the resulting projection.

- The only thing that still bothers me (I'm not an electrical
- engineer): Someone told me that the long cables might wear
- out the driver chips of the interfaces. Is there someone who
- can comment on this?
