- Umm; Scott, I have *never* heard of a bug report where the serial
- ports won't work when run at 38400 on 20 or 25. Yes, if you don't
- use flow control, characters will be dropped on input, and in some
- (rare) cases, you will drop characters even with hardware flow control
- set on the Indigo and 30/35 (because the 8530 doesn't support true
- hardware input flow control, so we have to do that in software
- (see Guy Harris's frequent comments on this in the Sun news groups;
- we toggle the signal, unlike Sun, but we have to do it after taking
- and interupt and programming some external logic) and sometimes something
- (most commonly, some graphics operations) holds off interrupts too long.
