- The same things was said about the 8086, and yet today, 10 years later,
- the P5 looks to be one of Next's best "short term" choices. Intel does a
- great job at making speedy chips. They don't have the fastest first, but
- they only lag the Riscs by a year (and that's a heck of alot better
- than Motorola). Next isn't in the "ultra fast" market -- they are in
- the professional workstation market. They need to be tied to a vendor who
- delivers fast cheap silicon. Intel does do that.
