- Mac IIx. It's not the computer's problem, and I found out that it isn't
- PageMaker's problem.

- Turns out that the same problem can be demonstrated simply from Finder
- 7.1. It has something to do with the new 7.2.1 LaserWriter driver.
- Here's how you can test it with your IIg (or perhaps any printer with
- gray scaling ability -- you must have System 7.1 installed):

- Set your screen to at least 8-bit color mode (256 colors), open a window
- in the Finder that shows a bunch of the light-blue folder icons, then choose
- Print Window from the File menu. Make sure to check the Color/Gray scale
- button in the print dialog.

- cross-hatching anomalies). Tell me (and Apple) if you do.
