  17. That was the first thing I tried with 7.1 and you most certainly can add
  18. or remove fonts from the fonts folder while other programs are running.
  19. You just have to quit and relaunch your applications for the font folder
  20. changes to be reflected in the Font menu.

  22. I've heard claim that Suitcase II will allow you to open and close font
  23. files and the changes will be reflected in application Font menus without
  24. quitting and relaunching. However, I have not been able to get this to
  25. happen using SuitCase II 1.2.12. I find that I still have to quit and
  26. relaunch an application before its font menu reflects any changes in the
  27. fonts opened by Suitcase.
