- Hi there Mike. There are a couple of ways for you to share your ImageWriter
- printer over a LocalTalk network.
-
- 1) Installing an AppleTalk network card into your ImageWriter II printer,
- connecting it to the network with another PhoneNet connector and use
- Apple's ImageWriter II-AppleTalk driver (included with System 7).
-
- 2) Use a utility that will share your printer over the network via modem
- port like 'ShadowWriters v2.0f' from Gizmo Technologies.
-
- 3) Wait until Apple releases some new ImageWriter II printer drivers which
- will support networking WITHOUT the need of an AppleTalk card installed.
-
- Hope this helps.
-
- If you have any more questions, or need any clarifications, please feel free
- to contact me and I'll do my best to help!
-
- Cheers!
