- Firstly, incase you had not noticed the StarJet 48 *IS* a Cannon BJ-10Ex with a diffent badge.

- Quality: As expected from an buble jet.
- Star reliabilty: Usually very reliable.
- Windows: as good as the driver for it (same driver in essence as BJ10-EX)
- Compatibility: not sure, but high probablity.
- Uses standard paper (no tractor feed).
- accessories such as batteries, power supplies, Cut sheet feeder are all available.
- don't know about DECjet 1000, but as I said it is a rebadged BJ10-EX.
