- The 1024x768x256 mode is done on the 8514/A part of the card, and
- requires 1MB of memory. The 800x600x256 mode is done on the SVGA part of
- the card, which has separate memory, and 512K is needed. It may be that
- you bought the card with 1MB in the 8514/A part, but only 256K for SVGA.
- That is how mine came in the box. Need to go out and buy a few more chips!
