  24.    The 1024x768x256 mode is done on the 8514/A part of the card, and
  25. requires 1MB of memory. The 800x600x256 mode is done on the SVGA part of
  26. the card, which has separate memory, and 512K is needed. It may be that
  27. you bought the card with 1MB in the 8514/A part, but only 256K for SVGA.
  28. That is how mine came in the box. Need to go out and buy a few more chips!
