- I am looking for a remote (infra-red or otherwise) serial link for
- connecting two computers.
-
- In other words, I want to be able to exchange data between two computers
- without having a physical wire connecting them, because one of the
- computers is on a wheelchair and moves around, and the user is unable to
- connect or disconnect a cable himself.
-
- Is such a link possible? I would be grateful for any information on
- suppliers, circuit diagrams, reasons why it can't be done, or any other
- ideas.
-
- I want to keep it fairly simple - a radio modem would be a bit over
- the top I think. It only needs to operate at 2400 bps over a range of
- 1 or 2 metres.
-
- Thanks,
-
