- Does anyone out there have tech notes, journal articles, or some
- references regarding keeping micro computers turned on all the time?
-
- This would refer to fan usage, hard disk wear and tear, monitor burn,
- etc. I am specifically looking for this information for a report I need
- to generate on this subject.
-
- I am trying to track the power drain, and component de-generation over
- a period of time.
-
- Also, if you have your thoughts on this subject please input those as well.
-
- I would be glad to get all the e-mail submissions and compile my report,
- and then submit it back to the network. I think this might be a good study.
-
- p.s. If you also have any other newsgroups this might be good to crosspost
- to please send those suggestions as well.
-
- thank you all. e-mail to su@prag.com
